    35 Whelen Load data

Fixing to venture into the 35 whelen for this upcoming season. Does anybody have any results for using hornady .358 200gr FTX bullet? If so what powder combos have you found works best. Pics and data are very welcome.

Ok, I finally looked back at what I shot back in the day. My Rem 700 Classic is mostly confined to the safe nowadays and I haven't shot it in quite a while. I have no idea what manual the data is from, I copied it from some buddy's manual a long time ago. But I have had great success with Win 760, not with the FTX, but with the Hornady 200gr SP #3510. I am running 62gr of Win 760 and the thing shoots awesome, sub-1 inch at 100 all day long. (Back in the day, lol) Would be glad to shoot you a pm with a pic of the data, but remember, I have no idea what manual it is from.

I’ve never shot the ftx, or 200gr bullets for that matter. I’ve always just ever shot 250gr bullets out of my Remington 7600. For what it’s worth, RL15 was best for me with the 250gr.
